Congratulations to our 2023 Brave Buffalo: Will Morris
Centennial Elementary Administration, Faculty and Parents are pleased to award one $1,000 merit-based, non-renewable scholarship to a Centennial Buffalo alumnus continuing to ‘explore frontiers of excellence’ with ‘great courage’. The 2024 Brave Buffalo Scholar will be an inspiring example of living out Centennial’s Creed. This inaugural scholarship was established to encourage both Centennial alumni and current students to believe there is ‘no limit to what they can achieve’.
Who May Apply:
A current Edmond Memorial, North or Santa Fe High School senior who completed one or more academic years at Edmond’s Centennial Elementary School to include his/her 5th grade year; and
Holds a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0; and
Is eligible and intends to enroll in an academically accredited not-for-profit postsecondary institution in the United States (eligible degree tracks: Bachelor’s, Associate’s, Career Technical Certificate).
IMPORTANT NOTE: If selected and to avoid forfeiture, the Brave Buffalo Scholarship recipient is required to attend a Centennial Student Morning Student Assembly to accept the award publicly in May 2024 during school hours. Additionally, recipient must be enrolled and pursuing at least 12 course hours by no later than fall 2024.

Fully online application:
1) Google Form including two essay questions;
2) Official seven-semester high school transcript submitted to scholarships@centennialpto.orgvia Parchment or high school counselor;
Late or incomplete applications (includes emailed components) will not be considered.
Awards Process:
An awards committee of current Centennial administration, faculty and Parent-Teacher Organization representatives will review all complete applications and select one Buffalo Scholar.
Brave Buffalo Scholarship recipient will be notified by approximately May 1 and invited to a required May Centennial Friday Student Assembly.
Scholarship payment will be made directly to the postsecondary institution upon receipt of Award Claim Formfrom scholarship recipient.
